How it works

Crane Operator for Rent

A crane operator for rent means you supply the machine and we supply the person who runs it. In Woodstock that usually means a contractor who owns or has rented a crane but has no ticketed operator on staff for the day. We match the operator to the crane class, the load chart and the pick plan before the lift.

Operators for mobile cranes, boom trucks and rough-terrain machines on construction, industrial and residential lifts across the site city and Oxford County. We work to your lift plan and coordinate with your rigging crew on the ground.

A crane on site with no qualified operator stalls the whole crew. Contractors across Ontario run into this when a machine is booked but the regular operator is unavailable, or when a lift needs someone who has run that specific crane class before.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

You supply the crane and we supply the ticketed operator who runs it for the lift. The operator works to your lift plan and coordinates with the rigging crew you already have on site.
Yes. If the machine is already on site and you just need someone qualified to run it, we match an operator to that crane class and the load chart for the picks.
The crane make and class, the load chart, the pick plan, the site address and the ground conditions. That lets us send someone who has run that machine before.
No. The operator runs the crane; the rigging gear and the rigging crew come from your side. We coordinate with them on the sequence of picks during the lift.
Yes, if the picks are on the same site or close together. the site city, Ingersoll and Norwich are close enough that a single operator can cover multiple lifts in one day.
The operator stops and we re-check the load chart and the pick plan before continuing. Changes to the load, the radius or the ground conditions are re-confirmed before the next pick.
