How it works
Precast & Equipment Lifts
Precast and equipment picks are decided by the piece, not the crane. A panel with two cast-in anchors lifts differently from a skid with four bolted lugs, and the set-down point has to be reachable at the same radius as the pick. Woodstock-area jobs often mean a tight residential lot or a plant yard where the truck and the crane cannot both sit at the piece.
Precast panel and slab picks, septic and cistern tank sets, generator and compressor skid placement, plant machinery offloads, and equipment moves between pads on the same site.
Equipment and precast arrive on someone else's schedule. The delivery truck is on the clock, the piece is sitting on the deck, and the crane has to be positioned so the pick radius and the set-down radius both work without repositioning mid-lift.

Frequently asked questions
Two anchors mean the panel hangs on a two-leg bridle sized to the anchor angle, and the panel is kept from rotating with tag lines. The anchor manufacturer's angle limit sets how wide the bridle can spread.
Yes, provided the crane can set up at a radius that covers the piece on the deck. If the truck and crane cannot both fit, the piece is usually skidded to a reachable point first.
The weight, the lifting-point layout and whether the skid frame is rated for a four-point pick or has to be supported underneath. A skid lifted on a frame that was never designed for it can twist.
The final position is marked and the radius to it is measured against the crane's chart at the piece weight. If the set-down is further out than the pick, the crane is positioned for the set-down.
Slings, shackles and spreader bars come with the lift and are matched to the anchor type. Any lifting points that are damaged or unmarked are flagged before the piece leaves the ground.
Only where there is a clear path for the piece and the crane can reach the opening at the required radius. Roof or wall openings are measured before the lift is planned.
