How it works

Residential Crane Rental

Residential lifts in Woodstock usually mean getting something heavy over a fence line or a finished yard without tearing it up. We size the crane to the piece and the reach, then set up on the driveway, the lawn or the street side that actually works.

Hot tub and swim spa placement, modular and shed section sets, roof truss and framing lifts for additions, rooftop HVAC and condenser units, generator and equipment sets, and small structural steel picks on residential builds across Ontario.

A residential lift is not a construction pick. The approach is narrow, the ground is often soft or landscaped, and there is usually a fence, a hedge or a low wire between the truck and the drop point. The crane has to be sized for the reach over that obstacle, not just the weight of the item.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Yes, if the pick radius and the item weight are within the crane's chart for that setup position. We confirm the reach from the street or driveway to the drop point before the lift day.
The address, the item and its approximate weight, the drop point, and a photo of the approach from the street. That is enough for us to size the crane and pick the setup position.
Outrigger pads spread the load, but soft or freshly landscaped ground can still mark. We look at the surface in the photos and choose the setup position that puts the least load on finished areas.
Yes, as long as the crane can reach the drop point from a setup position on the street or driveway. The fence line and any overhead wires are part of what we check before confirming the machine.
Yes. The operator coordinates with whoever is setting the item so the crane holds the load while they position and secure it.
It depends on the item weight and how far the crane has to reach over the obstacle. A short reach over a fence is a smaller machine than a long reach over a house.
